Another myth about cruises is that they are set upon a very rigid schedule for dining entertainment and recreation. At one time this was true however it is not the fact at all today. Quite possibly one of the biggest myths about cruises is that some point it will get boring before the vacationers over. Some individuals even feel as if they will be cooped up on the ship with nothing to do but watch the waves of the ocean. The last thing that the cruise line wants you to do is for you to get bored. This is why they pack as many activities as humanly possible into each cruise. It is however, up to you as the vacationer to seek out and choose your activities you would like to participate in.
Some cruises have regular on shore excursions at certain destinations which will allow you to mingle with the locals and engage in activities such as snorkeling and fishing and in some areas even kayaking. The possibilities are endless on a cruise, and if you're looking for a good time you are bound to find it.
