Would you be better off to take classes at your local community college, or would it be more expensive? While some of it depends on your income, that is not the only qualifying factor taken into account, so don’t just assume that you make too much money to qualify, as that may not be the case. It can also be influenced by how many people live in your household, how many people in the house are taking college courses at the present time, how much money you have in savings, and what other assets you may have. It never hurts to apply and see what you can get, even if you don’t get enough to pay for everything, it is still better than nothing.
